Mission Statement

Our mission is to support individuals and families in the Halton Region during moments of crisis and road-related trauma.

In support of the Ontario Provincial Police, we vow to always honour victims' safety, dignity, and resilience. In times of tragedy, no one should need to worry about making phone calls or navigating their next steps alone.

We strive to make sure that no one facing tragedy ever feels alone.

Program Goals

Our six program goals are to:

1
Lessen the trauma

experienced by victims and their loved ones due to traffic collisions, including coping with death, disfigurement, or long-term physical and mental impairment.

2
Promote community involvement

in addressing the impact of motor vehicle collisions and building a network of support.

3
Support a collaborative police-community approach

to enhance the promotion of highway safety.

4
Provide 24/7 support

in support of the Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.), ensuring immediate coordination and assistance to victims.

5
Educate the public and raise awareness

by participating in seminars and conferences that foster better community understanding of available victim support services.

6
Create strong, collaborative, and trauma-informed volunteers
